The City Mini is a full-size stroller that doesn't really stand out in any way except that it's very lightweight and compact when folded. It also excels in all of our categories, but it does not score as well as other strollers because of a poorly placed peek-a-boo window and storage that is somewhat blocked.
But, it's a solid stroller and one of our top choices for families who require something that will get them through daily use and even occasional adventures. It features a large footrest that is cushioned. This makes it a comfortable stroller for children. The seat reclines to a pretty flat position, but we found it somewhat difficult to adjust and required two hands. The adjustable support for the calf is an excellent feature that allows your child to get up on their feet when they're exhausted.
Like many of the other strollers get more info we have reviewed, the City Mini has a huge canopy that is UV50 and that parents rave about. The sun shade is constructed beautifully and can be pulled completely down. This is great because it shields your child from sun without the need to tuck the shade back into place.
The City Mini can be easily converted into a double-stroller by attaching an additional kit. This will give you the possibility of using any Baby Jogger car seat and creating a travel system right from the start. The only downside is the fact that adding a second car seat to the stroller changes its look and feel. Some parents might be unable to manage this after they get used to it.
The City Mini GT Double Stroller is another option to the City Mini. The model is a little more expensive than the single City Mini but it does include extra features, like "forever air" rubber tyres and suspension which makes it suitable for off-road excursions. It also comes with an adjustable handlebar and hand-operated parking brake that makes it more user-friendly than the standard City Mini.
